Jodi moved upstate to the Capital Region 15 years ago with the intention of giving her three children a better quality of life in the Saratoga County Area. After several years in the Ballston Spa area, Jodi decided to sell her home on her own and was able to do so in a very short period of time in 2004.
The excitement of the sale motivated Jodi to get her license as a real estate professional, and she has been selling real estate in the Capital Region since that time.
“I believe that every client deserves the best quality of service and I treat every transaction as if it were my own," says Jodi. After five years in the real estate business, Jodi A. Leonard decided to get her Broker’s License and go off on her own with a team of professionals she trusted who share her own ethical beliefs and real estate standards
“We started out as a team and we have stayed together, adding other real estate professionals to our team with like minds and standards of practice."
Jodi Leonard is now the owner of Pride Realty, LLC. Jodi expects every agent working under her to give their absolute best standard of practice to ALL of Pride Realty’s clients. “It is the only way I want to teach my agents to practice real estate, as if it were their own home they were buying or selling," she says. “I want my clients and all the clients of Pride Realty, LLC to feel as if they are our ONLY client. I want them to know that we care about them and that we understand that their transaction is one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. I want our clients to walk away knowing that they chose a real estate company that had the experience and knowledge to assist them in their transactions, whether they are involved in a residential, commercial or a relocation transaction, and that Pride Realty provided the most ethical standard of practice they could find anywhere." Jodi adds, "I believe it is important to feel as though you’ve spent your money wisely and I want our clients to know that our services are guaranteed."
Jodi continues to strive to change the way the public views real estate. Jodi not only sells real estate, but she gives her clients real peace of mind as they are entering into a real estate transaction. Jodi and her team have developed the knowledge and strategies to think outside the box to get the job done.
Jodi also stays on the cutting edge in her industry and prides herself on the contacts she maintains. “I am currently networking with other professionals in the real estate business such as contractors, attorneys, inspectors, appraisers and mold specialists, etc. to provide quality referrals to my clients for any need they may have. My clients call me long after their transactions are over for referrals from painters, builders, plumbers, accountants and even financial planners."
My goal is a simple one:
To provide you with an outstanding level of service so you may experience the best possible outcomes when buying or selling a home.
I bring to my clients :
My skill set includes:
Prior to earning my real estate license and associate broker’s license, I was a public school educator. Having graduated from Ithaca College (BS) and Albany State (MS), I enjoyed the challenge that teaching provided. Besides being a classroom teacher, and district wide department head, I was responsible designing health education curriculum, teacher training, and instituting peer programs for students. I also sssisted in the operation of a family business for 20 years and coached youth sports.
After many years of teaching, and the desire for growth and investing in life-long learning, I discovered I had an interest in real estate. Having worked with a variety of students and parents who all had different needs and expectations, I found that helping people with their real estate needs utilized the same skill set.
Loving new challenges, I made my entry in the real estate field on a part time basis, and within 2 years made it my full time passion (for the last 8 years).
I reside in the Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake area of upstate New York, where my husband and I raised our three sons, been active in the community, and have enjoyed the diverse activities, culture and beauty the Capital Region has to offer.
